Obtaining an Associate Certified Entomologist (ACE) is no small accomplishment. To become an ACE, one needs to:
- Pass a rigorous examination
- Hold a current U.S. pesticide applicator’s license
- Sign the ACE Code of Ethics
- Have 5 years experience (only 3 required for those with an entomology degree)
- Maintain a minimum number of CEUs annually (upon passing the exam)
